AT&T adding 65 jobs to Joplin Call Center

AT&T TO HIRE ADDITIONAL 65 EMPLOYEES AT JOPLIN CALL CENTER

WHAT:
AT&T is hiring an additional 65 employees at its call center at 4001 Richard Joseph Boulevard in Joplin. Already this year, AT&T has hired nearly 150 in Joplin, and nearly 800 in Missouri.

The jobs are Business Customer Service Specialist positions in AT&T’s small business segment. Our Business Customer Service Specialists answer customer/client requests or inquiries concerning service, products, billing, equipment and claims with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism.

Starting pay for the positions ranges from $10.28 to $11.62 per hour, depending on education and experience. The jobs are full-time and offer benefits including health care and 401(k) contribution matching. New employees will receive 10 weeks of paid training and on-the-job support as they learn new job skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 18 years of age

Six months experience operating a computer in Windows-based environment

Availability to work a flexible schedule which includes all hours of call center operation (Monday—Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday – Sunday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
