Labette Bank Gives Back

Labette Bank and the City of Chetopa, Kansas are proud to jointly announce that Labette Bank has officially completed the donation of a new city hall to Chetopa, Kansas.

A few months ago, Labette Bank approached city officials regarding the possibility of finding a business or businesses to move into the property. After personally inspecting the property, Mayor Ron Wood informed Labette Bank of the deteriorating condition of the city hall and a new location would provide a solution to their problems. A few days later, Labette Bank decided to donate the property to the City of Chetopa.

Labette Bank wants to thank all of its employees who consistently strive to serve their communities because, without their hard work and dedication, such a contribution to the City of Chetopa would not be possible. Most of all Labette Bank wants to thank their customers. As a community bank, Labette Bank believes in giving back to its communities. However, without your business and continued support, Labette Bank would not have been able to make this contribution.

The City of Chetopa, Kansas would like to thank all of its employees. Many employees and volunteers have given much of their time and effort for this transfer. The City and the citizens of Chetopa knew that a new City Hall was needed, but it was your tireless efforts and willingness to go the extra mile that make this reality.
