Deadline for Neosho Christmas Parade is coming up

Registration is Underway 2013 Christmas Parade Neosho, MO:

Reminder, Deadline for the Neosho Christmas Parade is coming close! Registration is underway for the 2013 Neosho Christmas Parade. The parade is scheduled for Saturday, December 7th at 5:00 p.m. If you are thinking about an entry for the parade the dead line date is set for November 15th. Entry forms have been mailed to last year participants. Those who did not receive an entry form and would like to participate may request one by calling 451-1925 or email info@neoshocc.com or stop by the Chamber office at 216 West Spring, located across the street from the Neosho/Newton County Library.

The theme for this year’s parade is “Christmas Night of Lights”. All floats and commercial entries should be lighted. Around 120 entries are expected to participate in this year’s parade. Registration will continue through November 15th. The snow date will be Saturday, December 14th.

The Christmas Parade is being held in conjunction with the free children’s “Breakfast with Santa” at the Civic Center located at 109 West Main Street from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. Each child attending the Free Breakfast with Santa will be making a free craft to take home.

The Jack Mitchell Band will be performing a Winter Jazz Concert at the Civic Auditorium from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Tickets are $5.00 each and may be purchased at the Neosho Fire Department, Neosho Police Department, Silhouette Imaging and the Neosho Area Chamber of Commerce. All proceeds go to “Shop with a Cop” and the Newton County Fire Department’s “Christmas for Kids”.
