Joplin's City Council chooses a new Charter Review member
Joplin's City Council met Thursday night to choose a replacement member for the city's Charter Review Commission. One of the former appointees to the commission said she was unable to serve.
The new charter member is Kay Wells. She served as Joplin Mayor in 1984.
The Charter Review members will discuss possibly changing how council members, the mayor, city clerk, even police chief will function, and who they are accountable towards.
