Carl Junction bus driver gets early morning scare

An early morning accident gives one Carl Junction bus driver quite a scare.

On Tuesday the driver of bus #9 was headed south on Highway JJ near Stringtown, Missouri to pick up kids when he says he was distracted by bright lights from a car traveling toward him.  The bus-driver skirted the guard rail and wound up in the ditch.

Carl Junction police and fire crews responded.

No kids were on board at the time and the driver was not harmed.
