Vandals hit 15 Joplin properties

Updated:

Halloween vandals leave their mark on a Joplin neighborhood.

Some residents of the Iron Gates neighborhood have a mess on their hands.  They are cleaning up graffiti after vandals struck at least 15 properties overnight.

Damaged properties include vehicles, homes, businesses and mailboxes.

"It is frustrating," says resident Mike Mitchell.  "I have already three hours of the work in trying to clean it up.  Not only that, it is disappointing, you know?"

If you live in the Iron Gates neighborhood and received damage similar to this, and have not reported it, you are urged to contact the Joplin Police Department to make a report.
