Missouri voters head to the polls

Voters throughout Missouri headed to the polls on Tuesday.

Voter turnout at South Byers Avenue Methodist Church in Joplin was very slow with only two items on the ballot.

Residents voted on tax changes and levies.

One community will also elect a fire protection board of directors.

We'll have results on all these issues tonight on Fox 14 News at 9 and KOAM News at 10.

    In 2039, Pittsburg State Students will open a time capsule and get a picture of what life was like on campus today. Filling that time capsule will be one of the tasks at a groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday, April 30, to kick off a major expansion and renovation of the Overman Student Center at PSU. The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. on the east side of the student center.More >>
