Tree Lighting Celebration in Joplin

For the 12th year in a row, the Ronald McDonald House of the Four States lights the Gift of Light, Gift of Love tree at the Northstar Theater in Joplin.

The tree lighting ceremony took place Thursday night.

This year's theme, "Celebrating 15 years in the Crystal Forest". Fox, deer and rabbits will scamper about a frozen winter wonderland while owls, squirrels and cardinals make their home in the sparkly 20 foot tree.

Back by popular demand is the Children's Movie Event Saturday, November 9th. This year's movie is Free Birds.
