Felon arrested after high speed chase in two states

Updated:

A wanted felon is behind bars in Bourbon County, Kansas  but is  also sought by  Missouri deputies as well.

A high speed chase led to the arrest of 32 year old Raymond Younce Junior. The pursuit started in Missouri where Younce is wanted on a felony firearms warrant. He's also wanted on other warrants out of Kansas. Younce, who was considered armed and dangerous, fled from a deputy  Friday morning during a traffic stop on Highway 54.

The chase moved into Kansas, onto sides roads and at one point, Younce rammed a Vernon County Sheriffs vehicle with his truck.  The truck then  became stuck in a muddy cornfield and Younce fled on foot but was captured. Younce will face charges in Bourbon County first. Then Vernon County plans to file charges of driving while suspended, driving under the influence and resisting arrest.
