NEWS RELEASE ISSUED BY DAVID'S BRIDAL

Bridal Celebrates Veterans Day with Special Military Discount

US Retailer Offers 20 Percent Savings to Those Who Serve Our Country

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA., November 11, 2013 David¹s Bridal, the nation¹s leading bridal and special occasion authority, is honoring the men and women who serve and have served our country in a special way this Veterans Day. The brand will offer a 20 percent discount to all active service members and veterans on any bridal gown purchase from Veterans Day through Friday, November 15th. This discount, available in US stores only, applies to service members who are planning their weddings, as well as those who are marrying a service member.

With one in every three brides walking down the aisle in a David¹s Bridal gown, the brand thought Veterans Day was a poignant moment to give back. This discount is in collaboration with the USO and their new ³Every Moment Counts² national campaign. The initiative rallies Americans to honor and create moments that matter for our troops and their families. Whether big or small, on the front porch or the front lines, there are countless moments many of us take for granted that our troops and their families cannot. With this discount, David¹s Bridal recognizes that weddings are one of life¹s most special moments for courageous troops and their families, and they should be celebrated as such.

"Many of our brides have connections to the military, so giving back to those who serve our country is very important to us," said David's Bridal Executive Vice President, Stores Cynthia Harriss. "In celebration of Veterans Day, we want to show our support and appreciation for all of these brave men and women and their families."

David¹s Bridal accepts both walk-ins and appointments at each store. Women interested in making an appointment or coming in to take advantage of the 20 percent Veterans Day discount can visitwww.davidsbridal.com to find a store near them. The discount applies to every bridal gown in store from David¹s Bridal¹s core collections to designer gowns from White by Vera Wang, Melissa Sweet, Oleg Cassini and more.
