A camel, a kangaroo, and around 70 kids from Frontenac walk into - KOAM TV 7

A camel, a kangaroo, and around 70 kids from Frontenac walk into a TV station...

Updated:

Wednesday is typically referred to as "Hump Day" and what's better than Hump Day than one with a visit from an actual camel?

Two Girls and a Zoo stopped by the station Wednesday morning with two friends from their mobile petting zoo near Fort Scott: Andy the camel, a one-hump dromedary, and Jack, a nine month old kangaroo.

The animals stuck around long enough to visit with a tour group.

Around 75 students from Frontenac Elementary School were in the studio with us for KOAM News at Noon.

See a gallery of photos from the visit on our Facebook page.
