PSU tech center hosts conference for technology educators

Updated:

The College of Technology at Pittsburg State hosted a conference on Friday for technology educators.

It's called The Transitions Conference and it featured a variety of workshops and interactive sessions for industry, technology and engineering educators in in the region.  From automotive technology, to graphics, and video editing, teachers exchanged ideas and methods to others in their field.

"Hear from people in the industry, as well as educators who have some best practices that they want to share so that they can take things to their classrooms, laboratories, and school districts, and see some improvement on what they're doing," says Dr. John Iley, the Department Chair for Technology and Workforce Learning.

150 educators attended Friday's conference.
