Oswego elementary honored as a National Blue Ribbon School

Neosho Heights Elementary School is honored as a National Blue Ribbon School.

The Oswego, Kansas school is among 286 institutions nominated by the U.S. Secretary of Education.

The award is based on a school's overall academic excellence and progress in improving a student's academic achievement.

Neosho Heights was honored at a recognition ceremony last week in Washington D.C.
