Trash service for some Joplin residents will not be picked up as scheduled

POSTED ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF JOPLIN

The City has been notified by Republic Services that due to road conditions today, the trash for residents in several of the more steep-snow-covered subdivisions will not be picked as scheduled. Republic Services anticipates trash in these areas will be picked up on Monday, December 9th.

If residents have questions, please contact Republic Services at 800-431-1507 or Mary Ann Phillips at the City of Joplin at 624-0820 ext. 501.

    The future of medical marijuana in Oklahoma is now uncertain just days after the state approved emergency rules. Two lawsuits filed Friday  challenge the new guidelines on state question 788. Both groups say the department of health went too far but the two cases could have very different results.
