Neosho Transportation Development District welcomes Appeals Court Decision

Updated:
NEWS RELEASE ISSUED BY THE NEOSHO TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT

The Neosho TTD Board of Directors welcomes the recent Missouri Southern District Court of Appeals 3-0 unanimous ruling affirming the validity of Judge Selby's decision denying the City of Neosho's suit.  This decision clears the way to complete this important economic development and public safety project.

"With the completion of the Kodiak Road stoplight, we believe that the citizens of Neosho have already begun to see one of the many important benefits that will come from the 60 Corridor Project", said TDD Board Chairman Steve Roark.  "This important intersection is now a much safer entrance to Highway 60."

"The Missouri Southern District Court of Appeals unanimous ruling clearly settles any legal issues, and now allows the TDD to focus all of its monies and efforts on this vital economic development and public safety project.  We look forward to working with the City of Neosho, and MoDot to build roads and opportunities," concluded Roark.
