Cowboys Honored on More All-Big 12 Teams

Press Release Oklahoma State University: 

Several Oklahoma State athletes picked up morehonors on post-season all-conference teams today, with eight Cowboys named tothe 2013 Athlon All-Big 12 Team and 11 named to the 2013 San AntonioExpress-News All-Big 12 Team.

Offensive lineman Parker Graham, defensive tackleCalvin Barnett, linebacker Caleb Lavey and cornerback Justin Gilbert were namedfirst-team honorees by both organizations.

Second-team honorees included quarterback ClintChelf, running back Desmond Roland, linebacker Shaun Lewis and punt returnerJosh Stewart on the Athlon team and Chelf, Stewart, Lewis, fullback Kye Staley,offensive lineman Brandon Webb, defensive lineman James Castleman and safetyDaytawion Lowe on the Express-News team.

Athlon also honored Gilbert, a Jim Thorpe Awardfinalist, as its Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year and as a third teamAll-American.

Graham, Barnett and Gilbert were named first team onthe AP and coaches All-Big 12 teams, with Lavey also honored as a first teamselection by the AP.
