KGCS Student Work Receives National Recognition

KGCS Student Work Receives National Recognition

Joplin, MO (SNS) – A Public Service Announcement produced by KGCS-TV has received national recognition from the College Broadcasters Inc.

The spot, “National Alliance on Mental Illness,” was voiced by communication major Kristen Hanna. It was recognized as a television finalist in the Public Service Announcement category of the annual media competition sponsored by CBI. The PSA has aired on local commercial television stations, in addition to airing on KGCS-TV.
