Press Release from Anderson Police Department:

On 01/10/2014 at 1:45pm the Anderson Police Department received a call from the Missouri Division of Family Services in reference to a Parental Kidnapping. On 01/02/2014 Preston Farris went to an apartment at the Indian Creek Apartments within the City limits of Anderson Missouri where his 6 month old son, Mitchell Farris was placed with his great Grandfather by the Division of Family Services. Farris left with the child and has not returned him. Farris is believed to be traveling with the Biological mother, Anastasia McDaniel. They are believed to be traveling in a 2004 Red Ford Freestar Mini Van displaying the Missouri License Plate of UH7D2R. The Van will have decal's on the back window of a stick figure family. Preston Farris is described as a White Male, 5'10" 230LBS with Brown hair. Anastasia McDaniel is described as 5'6" , approx 200LBS with Red or Strawberry Blonde Hair.
