Vintage and Antique Market Arrives in Joplin

The old saying goes "One man's junk...may be another man's treasure".
This is especially if you're an antiques collector.

Treasures from different sellers fill the convention center in Joplin this weekend. Hundreds of vendors line the space with their ready to sell items... All exuding a bit of aged charm.

Organizers tell us an item is usually considered antique after 25 years....and these items can essentially be anything.

"You can find everything here. There's furniture, there's jewelry, there's some really awesome gas pumps, there's signs, there's letters...everything here." says Sheila Burks, an employee of the Heritage Events Group.

The vintage market will continue Sunday at the John Hammons Convention Center from 10 am to 5 p.m.
