Suspect in storage building robberies has been arrested

Updated January 14, 2014 at 11:45 a.m.:  Authorities arrest a Joplin man in connection to a string of storage unit thefts in southwest Missouri.

A warrant was issued and served at a home on old 66 Boulevard in Jasper County Monday afternoon.

The warrant stated 28-year-old Brian Ashton allegedly received stolen property.

The Jasper County sheriff says Ashton is suspected in multiple storage unit burglaries in Jasper County.

The Jasper County Sheriff's Office is currently looking for Brian F. Ashton, 28, of Joplin, Mo.

Ashton is a suspect in several Burglaries from storage buildings and has a Warrant for his arrest for receiving stolen property ($10,000 bond)
