Mini Psychic Fair Comes to Downtown Joplin

Updated:

Local residents glanced into the future, in the form of card reading.

The Southwest Missouri Mini Psychic Fair welcomed local residents for readings with metaphysical experts. Hosted at Gaelic Callings on Main Street in downtown Joplin, the event was held to offer a way for locals to look into their future. While readings vary from person to person, experts say it is a way to inspire individuals to make a positive changes in their lives.

"It gives you information, said Kelly Hallacy. "It's just a fun way of connecting. You know some readings are really good, some readings aren't so good. The thing I tell people is if you don't like the reading, you have free will. Do something to change it."

Professional readers also said the mini fair was held as a way to spread the word for the Southwest Missouri Halloween Psychic Fair that will be held in late October.
