Crowder Softball Program Hires New Coach

Updated:

Press Release Crowder College:

The Lady ‘Rider Softball team will have a new look this spring as John Sisemore takes the reign as the interim head softball coach. The softball team will kick off their season, February 15, at home.

Coach Sisemore has an impressive coaching background as he was the head coach at Ecclesia College, Adidas National team, and Crush Elite Softball team. He also served as an assistant coach at the University of Arkansas. He has a 6 year coaching record of 268 wins and 41 losses.

The Ecclesia program in Springdale, AR, was a start up program where he helped build an on campus field and indoor practice facility. He has also coached many standout performers: 3 All SEC & NCAA All-Americans, 4 All Big 12 Performers, 2 National Pro Fastpitch performers, and 3 ASA national qualifier teams.

When applying for the position Sisemore indicated he had a desire to build a national champion team. "I am honored to be a part of such a great atmosphere here at Crowder. When I was given this tremendous opportunity I had no idea what a wonderful welcoming place I was coming to. This has to be the best kept secret in the country! I hope to help continue the winning traditions and hard work ethics that have been instilled by the faculty now and before me. I truly now understand " the Crowder way" and look forward to letting the secret out," said Sisemore.

"Crowder is very fortunate to get a coach with the experience and credentials Coach Sisemore possesses," stated Millie Gilion, Athletic Director.
