Annual Fishing and Hunting Show Sparks Spring Anticipation - KOAM TV 7

Annual Fishing and Hunting Show Brings Spring Anticipation

Updated:

It may be the middle of winter, but that didn't stop 4-staters from looking forward to spring at the 7th annual Fishing and Hunting Show hosted by Albers Marine.

Held at the Meadowbrook Mall in Pittsburg, the show features the latest for the outdoor enthusiast. Locals gathered to see the 2014 boat, RV, ATV and camper models, as well as to witness new tackle and hunting gear. According to show coordinators, the event attracted people of all ages, and gave families a reason to plan ahead.

"It's a good excuse to get outdoors," said professional angler Brian Snowden. "It's been really cold the last few weeks and the best thing is that it's never too early to start planning for your vacations. Maybe look at the new boats, maybe get some fishing gear or hunting equipment."
