NEO announces President’s Honor Roll

Miami, Okla. (Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014) -- Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College has announced its President’s Honor Roll for the fall semester of the 2013 academic year. To qualify for this distinction, a student must carry a minimum of 12 credit hours and have a 4.0 grade point average.

NEO is located in Miami, Okla., and offers Associate in Arts, Associate in Science and Associate in Applied Science degrees, as well as numerous one- and two-year certificate programs. NEO is the largest two-year residential college in the state of Oklahoma.

    The state of Kansas now has a Republican nominee for Governor. What has been a roller coaster primary between Kansas Governor Jeff Colyer and Secretary of State Kris Kobach, Colyer announced today he is conceding defeat and is endorsing Kobach. Kobach will face the Democratic nominee Laura Kelly.  Governor Colyer was elevated from his position after former Kansas Governor Sam Brownback took an ambassador's position.

    A Springfield man was indicted by a federal grand jury today (Aug 14, 2018) for making a bomb threat at a Veterans Affairs Clinic. 48-year-old Richard Leslie Turner III allegedly threatened to blow up the Community Based Outpatient Clinic located at 600 N.
