Kylie Cornman named MIAA Women's Field Athlete of the Week

PRESS RELEASE MSSU: 

MissouriSouthern senior thrower KylieCornman has been named the MIAA Women's Field Athlete of the Week asannounced by the league office today. 

Cornman, anative of Mountain View, Mo., placed fourth in the shot put at theUniversity of Kansas Jayhawk Classic this past week. The senior picked up astrong provisional mark of 49-02.25 and was the top D-2 athlete in the event,finishing behind only two Kansas athletes and a pro. The mark currently ranksher fourth nationally and was just four inches from an AQ in the event.

Cornman andthe Lions will play host to the MSSU Lion Invitational this Friday and Saturdayinside the Leggett & Platt Athletic Center.
