Several Pittsburg roads among first to be plowed of snow

Updated:

Snow crews in Pittsburg say roads near medical facilities are among priorities for clearing.  Crews are also concentrating their efforts right now on roads providing access to food stores.

Those roads include Broadway, Centennial, and Rouse.

"We want to get the major streets, streets that we know people are going to travel to get the necessities.  Either medical attention, or to get to the shopping areas to provide supplies.  Then, we'll start addressing the streets they need to get to to get to work, to school, and so forth," says Bill Beasley with Pittsburg's public works.

Snow plow drivers promise they'll have many streets near schools treated by tonight, *just in case* school resumes tomorrow.
