Southern softball announces four games with Drury on Feb. 22 & 23

After thisweekend's season-opening tournament at Southeastern Oklahoma State wascancelled to due to wet weather conditions, the Missouri Southern softballprogram has scheduled a home-and-home doubleheader with the Drury UniversityPanthers on February 22 and 23.

The Lionswill play a doubleheader at home on Saturday, February 22 at 1 and 3 p.m. andthen travel to Drury to play the Panthers at Thompson Field the following dayat 1 and 3 p.m.

The Lionswere picked ninth in the preseason MIAA coaches poll released on January 31 andwill open their season next weekend at the UAM Division II Softball Classic inBentonville, Arkansas when they will play six games in three days starting withIllinois-Springfield at 11:30 a.m. on February 14.
