What he has is greatability with the ball in his hands, just like what we used to watch with JustinGilbert, so that excites us. He's going to be a work in progress learning thedefensive back side of the game. He can also play safety, as we watched him inhis high school video. He has tremendous speed, is really good with the ball inhis hands and is going to be able to help us in special teams. He'll start outat corner, but has the ability to play at both positions."

He's a good student and great person. He kind offits the mold of that star linebacker that we've had in the past with AndreSexton and Shaun Lewis. He's a safety/outside linebacker and the first thingthat jumps out at you on film is his blitz skills and he's a very aggressiveplayer. He is a fine young man and we're fortunate that we have some ties inGeorgia and got a phone call to jump on him as fast as we could. A lot ofschools jumped on him late after something fell through on another end. Kirk isone of those guys who was off the radar for a while, but when we had the chanceto get him, we jumped right on him and it worked out well."

"Cole'sa young guy that we identified late in the spring. We had a chance to visitwith him during the summer. Cole's a very tall, long and full-of-range footballplayer. The thing with Cole is that he's going to have to put on some weight toplay at this level. The reason I like Cole is because of his competitiveness. He goes straight from football, takes a day off then goes into basketball, takes a day off then joins the baseball team and competes in track, takes a dayoff and then he's in summer league. He's a young guy that never stops. He'scompeting all year round. We feel that once he focuses on just one sport he'sreally going to blow up as far as his weight, mass and probably even improvehis strength and speed. As a competitive youngster, I like guys who play inmultiple sports year-round. I think that competition helps drive your footballteam."
