Joplin School Board Member Arrested for DUI

A Joplin school board member was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Phil Willcoxon who serves on the school board was pulled over by the Missouri Highway Patrol Friday night in Newton  County for speeding.  The 47 year old was cited with a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated and has been released from the Newton County jail. Joplin Schools Superintendent CJ  Huff says, " Board policy doesn't indicate any action is needed on the part of the board related to the misdemeanor."
