Missing 11 year-old found safe in Oklahoma City

Updated at 6:25 p.m. -  Missouri State Highway Patrol has CANCELED its Endangered Person Advisory in the search for Danielle Smith.  MSHP says Smith was found safe in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Updated at 6:20 p.m. -  The Springfield, Missouri CBS affiliate - KOLR - reports on their Facebook page that Danielle Smith was found safe in Oklahoma.  We are working to get more details.

Information has been received that the subjects may be near the Tulsa, Oklahoma area at this time. The below vehicle photo is not the exact vehicle but an example of how this type of vehicle would appear.

Anyone seeing the missing person, suspect, associate, or vehicle, or anyone having any information related to the endangered missing person should immediately dial 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the Aurora Police Department at 417-678-5025.

State of Missouri Endangered Person Advisory

The Aurora Police Department has issued an Endangered Person Advisory for a missing person incident that occurred at the Marionville Elementary School February 17, 2014 at 07:53 A.M.

Missing Is: Danielle Monica Smith a white female age 11

Vehicle Information: Gray 2011 Mazda 6 with blacked out windows bearing Texas License BT3T202, last seen at the Marionville Elementary School

Possible suspects or associates are believed to be: Andrew Smith a white male age 46. No further description is available

The endangered missing person: Danielle Monica Smith is a white female, age 12, 4”8”, 77lbs, brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt over a pink hooded sweatshirt, gray t-shirt and military style green and white pants.

Brief circumstances regarding the Endangered Missing Person incident: Danielle Smith was abducted by a non-custodial parent Andrew Smith this morning at the Marionville Elementary School. Andrew Smith has abducted Danielle Smith in the past and has shown a history of abuse. At this time destinations are unknown.
