Nevada quarterback signs to play for Iowa Wesleyan

Alex Payne, 2014 NHS graduate, signed today with Iowa Wesleyan University in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, a NCAA Division III School, to play football and baseball during the 2014-2015 year. He has been a 4 year football letterman and 3 year starting quarterback. He was selected Class 4A Coaches All-Southwest Missouri QB 2012 and 2013; 1st team All District Class 4A; Offensive Player of the Year; and will begin his 4th year as a starter on the Nevada High School baseball team. He is the son of Marty and Melissa Payne.
