MSSU says Daryl Daye to stay as football coach in 2014

Monday night we reported that Daryl Daye was one of three candidates for the special teams coordinator at LSU.

Tuesday afternoon Missouri Southern State University confirmed that Daye will be staying on to coach the MSSU Lions football team this upcoming season.  Daye has coached the past two seasons at MSSU, compiling a 13-8 mark, including a 7-3 record last season and their their first win over Pittsburg State since 1993.

CBS Sports is reporting that LSU has offered its special teams coordinator job to Kentucky linebackers/special teams coach Bradley Dale Peveto.

    The Colgan Panthers golf team finished as the runner-up in the 2A State Tournament on Monday, behind only Salina-Sacred Heart which won its 3rd consecutive state title.
