Teams from MIAA softball are set to return to the field as week three rolls around.

Central Missouri scheduled to head to MSSU Tournament
Record: 5-5, 0-0 MIAA
Team Stats: Batting Average .308, ERA 5.68
Central Missouri is scheduled to travel to the Missouri Southern Tournament this weekend. At the plate Jakki Prater is hitting .417 with eight home runs and 18 runs driven in. In the circle Prater is 5-1 with a 4.88 earned runs average and 22 strikeouts on the season.

Central Oklahoma scheduled for trip to Texas
Record: 6-5, 0-0 MIAA
Team Stats: Batting Average .345, ERA 2.33 
Central Oklahoma is 6-5 and will make a trip to Texas for some tournament play. At the plate Kaylee Brunson is hitting .462 with 11 runs scored and nine stolen bases. In the circle Amanda McClelland is 2-2 with a 2.10 earned run average and Kalynn Schrock is 3-3 with a 2.26 ERA.

#25 Emporia State readies to play indoors
Record: 7-2,0-0 MIAA
Team Stats: Batting Average .274, ERA 2.67
#25 Emporia State will travel to St. Cloud State Indoor this weekend. At the plate Tricia Vogel is hitting .345 with two home runs and eight runs driven in while Taylor Zordel has six runs scored and eight stolen bases. In the circle Kaitlyn Caston is 5-1 with a 1.89 earned run average in 40.2 innings pitched.

#14 Fort Hays State hits the road this weekend
Record: 5-1, 0-0 MIAA
Team Stats: Batting Average .335, ERA 2.97 
#14 Fort Hays State will travel to Rockhurst before heading to Minnesota. At the plate Rilee Krier is hitting .500 with six runs scored and Kylie Strand is hitting .474 with five runs driven in. In the circle Paxton Duran is 3-0 with a 3.65 earned run average.

Lincoln waits for trip to Minnesota
Record: 2-0, 0-0 MIAA
Team Stats: Batting Average .235, ERA 2.50   
After opening the year 2-0, Lincoln is next scheduled to head to Minnesota on Feb. 23-24. At the plate Sam Kircher is hitting .500 with three home runs and six runs driven in. In the circle Jessica Cook was 1-0 with a 2.00 earned run average.

Lindenwood scheduled for home opener
Record: 2-4, 0-0 MIAA
Team Stats: Batting Average .204, ERA 5.85
Lindenwood is scheduled to play their home opener this week. At the plate Courtney Kitson hit .333 with two runs driven in and five scored. In the circle Morgan Colvis is 2-1 with a 4.05 earned run average.

Missouri Southern readies for home and home with Drury

Team Stats: Batting Average .272, ERA 6.62 
Missouri Southern will play a home and home series with Drury. At the plate Michala Wood is hitting .313 with two home runs and seven runs driven in. In the circle Haley Kinnison is 2-1 with a 5.63 earned run average.

Missouri Western heads for indoors in Minnesota

Team Stats: Batting Average .324, ERA 2.60  
Missouri Western will head to the St. Cloud Indoor Tournament this weekend. At the plate Tiffany Gillaspy is hitting .467 with three home runs and six RBI. MIAA/AstroTurf Pitcher of the Week Jackie Bishop is 3-1 with a 1.00 ERA and 40 strikeouts.

Nebraska-Kearney heads to St. Cloud Indoor 
Record:  1-5, 0-0 MIAA
Team Stats: Batting Average .222, ERA 5.25
Nebraska-Kearney will head to the St. Cloud Indoor Tournament this weekend. At the plate Kaitlin Hehnke is hitting .385 with one home runs and three runs batted in. On the mound Bailey Backhuus is 1-1 with a 4.08 earned run average.

Northeastern State readies for home opener
Record: 2-6, 0-0 MIAA
Team Stats: Batting Average .286, ERA 4.33    
Northeastern State will open things up at home with William Jewell and Bacone. At the plate Madison Reed is hitting .500 with nine runs scored. In the circle Kayce Wooldridge is 1-2 with a 4.07 earned run average.

Northwest Missouri heads for indoors in Minnesota
Record: 2-4, 0-0 MIAA
Team Stats: Batting Average .349, ERA 6.46
Northwest Missouri will head to the St. Cloud Indoor this weekend. At the plate Chantel Adams is hitting .526 with three home runs and eight runs driven inn. In the circle Abbie Vitosh is 1-2 with a 5.25 earned run average.

Pittsburg State ready for home opener
Record: 4-2, 0-0 MIAA
Team Stats:  Batting Average .292, ERA 3.13  
Pittsburg State will play their home opener this weekend against Arkansas Tech. MIAA/AstroTurf Hitter of the Week Tiffany Brown is hitting .500 with five home runs and 12 RBI. Samantha Groves is 2-0 with a 1.31 ERA in the circle this season.

Southwest Baptist opens league play at Washburn
Record: 1-7, 0-0 MIAA
Team Stats: Batting Average .239, ERA 7.71
Southwest Baptist will face Washburn Feb. 22 when league play begins. At the plate Raigan Ratliff is hitting .435 with five runs driven in. In the circle Kacey Ayers is 1-3 with 11 strikeouts.

Washburn waits to face SBU and open league play
Record: 0-0, 0-0 MIAA
Team Stats: Batting Average .272, ERA 7.73   
Washburn is scheduled to face SBU at home on Feb. 22 to begin league play. At the plate last season Deidra Jones hit .417 with six home runs and 22 RBI. In the circle Lauren Thimmesch was 9-15 with a 6.22 earned run average.
