USD 250 Partners with Financial Institutions for Box Top Campaign

Pittsburg, KS (February 24, 2014) – Since 1996, Box Tops for Education has helped schools across America earn cash for needed classroom supplies.

USD 250’s four elementary schools and middle school participate in the program, which calculates to 2,035 students. During the 2012-2013 the district received $6,050.78.

Through cooperation of banks and other financial institutions, containers are set up to encourage the community to cut out their box tops and give them to their schools.

Patrons can take their clipped box tops and place them in bins located at the following institutions:

  • Arvest Bank
  • Citizens Bank
  • Community National Bank
  • First Federal Bank
  • Kansas Teachers Community Credit Union
  • Labette Bank
  • M&I Bank
  • University Bank
  • US Bank

Box Top coordinators hope that this approach will bring more money to classes across the district.
