Press Release Oklahoma State University: 

Four Oklahoma State Cowboys were named to the Academic All-Big 12 Men’s Basketball teams for the 2014 season, it was announced today by the league office.


Senior Mason Cox, junior Christien Sager and sophomore Phil Forte were all named to the first team. For Sager and Cox, it was the second-straight year for first-team recognition. Junior Brian Williams was honored on the second-team Academic All-Big 12. 

Special recognition was given to Sager, an electrical engineering major from Wichita Falls, Texas, for his perfect 4.00 grade point average. Cox is a mechanical engineering major from Highland Village, Texas. Forte is a management major from Flour Mound, Texas, while Williams is a university studies major from Baton Rouge, La.

Oklahoma State (18-10 overall, 6-9 Big 12) hosts the Kansas Jayhawks on Saturday, March 1, at 8 pm inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.
