Bowl for kids SAKE bowls in Joplin

It's not about being the best bowler...it's about being the best example for a child, and that's what big brothers big sisters promotes.


This afternoon the big brothers big sisters of Joplin held its  bowl for kids sake fundraiser.
The fundraiser is a national event, but local groups host their own at various times of the year.
Organizers say no matter what age...anyone can make a difference in someone else's life

"they come from all walks of life, all family backgrounds...these are kids who just need additional adult influence, a positive role model in their life and that's what we try to find in our volunteers" says Program Director, Don Greenlee.
