Four State Vinyl Record Show includes thousands of albums for sale

Updated:
Some Four State residents prefer a classic Vinyl Record over modern day electronic devices.
Records in LP and 45 formats were for sale today at the Four State Vinyl Record Show in Joplin.
Albums included a wide variety of genres such as rock, country, pop, gospel, blues, jazz, polka and bluegrass, ranging from the 50's through the 80's.
Yesterday's Music, based in Milwaukee, WI, brought thousands of records to the showing.
Jim Young, the coordinator of the event, has more than 175,000 records in his personal collection.
He says one of the things he enjoys the most about collecting is the challenge of finding a rare disc.
"Half the fun is looking and always trying to find the one special one that you couldn't find," Young said.
"I've been collecting records since I was 5 years old," said Roger Hankins, Arkansas resident.  "I'm just looking for something I don't have.  I have about 30,000 albums."
The next Four State Vinyl Record Show in Joplin is scheduled for this summer on Sunday, June 22nd.
