Game Times and Ticket Prices Released for Central Regional

The NCAA Central Regional host school, Harding University, released game times and ticket information on Monday (March 10).

Pitt State's first round game versus Wayne State will tipoff at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, March 14, immediately following the game between top seeded Emporia State and No. 8 seed Southwestern Oklahoma.

The evening session will feature host Harding vs. Concordia St. Paul at 5 p.m. and Central Missouri and Northern State ad 7:30 p.m.

Saturday's semifinal games will be played at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The Central Regional Championship game will be Monday (March 17) at 7 p.m.

Tickets will be $8 for adults and $5 for students. All tickets are general admission seating and will be sold at the Rhodes Field House Ticket Office beginning one hour prior to the start of the first game each day. All ticket sales are cash only. No credit cards will be taken.

For fans not able to make the trip to Searcy, Ark., live stats and live video streaming will be available via Harding's website. Direct links, as well as a regional tournament home page will be available later this week. As always, Eddie Lomshek will broadcast the game live on KKOW AM 860 and kkowradio.com.

2:30 p.m. - No. 4 Wayne State vs. No. 5 Pittsburg State
5 p.m. - No. 2 Harding vs. No. 7 Concordia-St. Paul
7:30 p.m. - No. 3 Central Missouri vs. No. 6 Northern State

Saturday, March 15
5 p.m. - Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2
7:30 p.m. - Winner Game 3 vs. Winner Game 4

Monday, March 17
7 p.m. - Winner Game 5 vs. Winner Game 6

    Crews Battle Vehicle Fire On Highway 69

    The Cherokee Township, Weir, and Galena Fire Departments fought a vehicle fire today (May 25) around 7:30 p.m. on Highway 69 near Highway 103. According to authorities a truck was heading south on 69 Highway when the vehicle started smoking. The truck was then completely engulfed by flames. The driver managed to escape the vehicle without any serious injury. Crews had the fire put out by 8:00 p.m. No word yet on what caused the truck to catch on fire.More >>
