Crowder College nursing students support Souls Harbor

Updated:
Crowder College nursing students gathered in Webb City to sell their homemade baked goods, donating all proceeds to Souls Harbor in Joplin. According to one student, the high demand to feed those in need makes often makes it hard for the shelter to keep provisions stocked, leaving its shelves sparse.

"They cook food and feed them every single day and so they have to have food to prepare and feed hundreds of people every day and so they're just empty," said Crowder College student Cassandra Mueller.

The students also held a food drive for the shelter. For ways to donate, visit Souls Harbor. 915 S Main St, Joplin or Crowder College Nursing Department.
