Gorilla Baseball and Softball to Host Alumni Events April 4 & 5

The Pittsburg State Softball and Baseball teams will host events specifically for alumni around their game on Friday, April 4 and Saturday, April 5.

On Friday, the softball team will host an MIAA doubleheader with nationally ranked Emporia State beginning at 3 p.m. Following the softball doubleheader, all softball alumni are invited to a social at Chatters beginning at 8 p.m.

Saturday the softball team takes on Washburn at 2 & 4 p.m. All softball alumni will be recognized between the two games.

The baseball team will play a weekend series against Southwest Baptist. Friday night's single game begins at 6 p.m. and alumni are invited to a cookout during the game. Following the game, all alumni will gather at Bubba's 311 for a social.

Saturday will be an early start for baseball alumni, as there will be a golf outing beginning at 8 a.m. Baseball alumni will meet for lunch at Chatters at noon before a 1 p.m. first pitch for the doubleheader against the Bearcats. There is a cost associated with both Saturday events.

Saturday will also feature kids activities during both the baseball and softball games.

A special rate for all out of town baseball and softball alumni has been arranged at Lamplighter
