Marquis Addison scores 15 in NABC Division II All-Star Game

Missouri Southern senior guard Marquis Addison scored 15 points as he helped the West All-Stars to a 121-109 victory in the NABC/Reese's Division II All-Star game tonight at the Ford Center in Evansville. 


Addison had seven points at the half and scored eight in the second half to be one of six players for the West roster in double-figures scoring. 

He shot 6-9 from the field and 2-3 from long range, including 1-2 from the free-throw line. He added an assist in 21 minutes of play. 

The West had a 59-52 lead at the break and outscored the East 62-57 in the second half. The game was played as part of the Elite Eight in Evansville.

     Missouri Southern was the unanimous pick to win the MIAA Men's Cross Country Championship, while in the women's poll four different teams earned first place votes.
