New enrollment schedule aims to make process smoother for students

Updated:
Students at Pittsburg State followed a new process today for enrollment.

Enrollment times were scheduled by class level.. But now The times to sign up for classes are now staggered depending on number of credit hours completed, compared to previously dependent on class level.

The university expects 3500 students to enroll by the end of Sunday. According to students, the new system makes things easier for some.

"People who are going to graduate next semester is who it benefits I think because they're almost guaranteed to get the classes they need," said Anna Zoller, Pitt State Junior.

Graduating seniors were given first priority to ensure they enroll in the classes they need for graduation.
