New voice mail system for Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - KOAM TV 7

New voice mail system for Montgomery County Sheriff's Office

Updated:
NEWS RELEASE FROM MONTGOMERY COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office has implemented a new voice mail system.  Upon dialing 620-330-1000, our non-emergency telephone number, the system will greet you and provide telephone number for the Montgomery County Jail and Montgomery County District Court for those callers needing those offices rather than the Sheriff's Office.

The following options will be provided after the telephone listings - press 1 for Dispatch, press 2 for Detectives, press 3 for Patrol Lieutenant, press 4 for Records, press 5 for Registered Offenders, press 6 for Administrative Assistant, and press 9 to repeat the options.

For citizens needing to leave a message for one of our deputies, press 1 and the dispatchers will gladly take and forward the message to them.  We realize new technology may be frustrating, but we feel adding this voice mail system will allow our staff to better serve the citizens of our community by providing direct access to the division within our office they need to speak with.

As always, if a call is a true emergency, please dial 911.
