NEWS RELEASE FROM THE CITY OF JOPLIN

Joplin Demize: Website provides team info, tickets, merchandise, etc.

The Joplin Demize NPSL team has expanded its presence from on the field to online as the team gears up for its inaugural season. Through a partnership with Demosphere, the country’s top soccer-specific international website provider, soccer enthusiasts can now go to www.joplindemize.com to keep up with team news, find Joplin Demize game highlights, and purchase tickets and merchandise.

The Joplin Demize NPSL has teamed up with Attendstar to allow fans to purchase game day tickets, season passes, and family packages for the upcoming season. Special rates for season passes and family packages will also run throughout the season. Be sure to check the website for special game-day promotions for the next Demize home game.

In addition, fundraising opportunities are available to organizations throughout Southwest Missouri. Through Attendstar, the Joplin Demize will split fundraised ticket proceeds with the organization. The Joplin Demize and Attendstar are flexible and eager to partner with as many groups as possible. Single game or season-long fundraising opportunities are available to help raise money for your team or organization.

“We got the idea from the San Diego Clash, another NPSL team, from California. With the fundraising opportunities, they were able to both increase game-day attendance and get involved with helping the community,” said Chris Hanlon, Director of Soccer Operations. “With Attendstar, we are now able to get directly involved with helping support organizations of all types and sizes within the community.”

For more information about fundraising with the Joplin Demize NPSL, email chris@demizesoccer.com.

The Joplin Demize webstore can be found by clicking the Admiral link at the bottom of the homepage. The webstore gives fans access to all things navy and orange offered by Admiral, the official equipment provider for the Joplin Demize NPSL team. Team shirts, hats, scarves, and more are available for purchase, as well as the official match jersey that acts as a season pass for the Inaugural 2014 Joplin Demize NPSL season. It allows single-person admittance to every Joplin Demize exhibition match and home game and can be personalized with a favorite number, last name, or nickname on the back. Game day stock of replica Joplin Demize jerseys will be limited, so be sure to submit your preseason order online to guarantee that your jersey will be ready for the upcoming season.

Visit www.joplindemize.com today to purchase tickets and apparel so you’ll be ready to support your Joplin Demize vs. Oklahoma City, FC opening day, May 16th!
