Carl Junction FFA Teaches 3rd Graders Where Food Comes From

Third graders in Carl Junction got a lesson in where their food comes from today from the Carl Junction High School's Future Farmers of Americas. Over 250 students visited 21 stations in the annual Food for America event.

The event has taken place at the school since at least the 11970's and from animals to fashion to food kids learn most things in life start with agriculture.
"The best part for me is that these kids have learned something and are going to go away from here knowing about our program," said FFA Reporter Kendall Goodyear.

And despite all the adorable animals, Goodyear says it was actually the tractor exhibition that the kids enjoyed the most.
