Owner of the Joplin Blasters searches for new developer for Joe Becker Stadium

Updated:

Joplin's new independent professional baseball team The Blasters will soon call Joe Becker Stadium home, but stadium developments might have hit a small road block.

Property developer Michael Wray is no longer a partner with the team's owner, the Suarez Group.  Wray was originally hired to construct parking lots and retail plaza in front of the stadium.

The Suarez Group is now searching for another developer.

The Blasters are set to begin playing in Joe Becker Stadium in 2015.
