Updated:
Additional help has arrived in Baxter Springs, KS.

A group of veterans and first responders, known as Team Rubicon of Region seven, has boots on the ground.

"We are here just to help you that is our only mission," said Team Rubicon member Robert Kulger.

Kulger is a veteran marine who says serving others has always been his mission .

"You know it helps my heart out it's some of the most awarding service I ever done," said Kulger.

The group offers assistance to uninsured homeowners whose homes need to be demolished, for free. However the group is struggling to find homeowners in need.

"Most of the people are not in their homes because they're so severely damaged, they can't live in the," said Kulger.

16 more volunteers will arrive to assist in recovery efforts through the weekend.
