Mark Welch 24th Annual Memorial Golf Tournament June 1st at Honey Creek Golf Club located 5 miles north of Aurora. Tee times are 8:00 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. 5 person teams. Please call 417-678-3353 for tee times.

This benefits a family in need do to major illness.

    28-year-old Timothy Russell Frobish, of Galena, is sentenced today, September 18th, 2018, to life in prison without the possibility for parole for 25 years for child sex crimes. The crimes occurred in February 2013. A Cherokee County, Kansas jury found him guilty in January 2015 to two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child, one count of attempted rape, one count of criminal threat, three counts of endangering a child, one count of possession of a synthetic canna...
