Road improvements headed for Neosho, MO - KOAM TV 7

Road improvements headed for Neosho, MO

Updated:

The Neosho Special Road District and Neosho Transportation Development District will join forces. The first project for the two groups will be to improve Industrial Drive from Kodiak Road to Highway-59. According to officials, the upgrades will relieve congestion and aid in better traffic flow.

One Neosho resident says improvements are needed.

"It's kind of confusing when you get off this road, as soon as you pull up, there's not really any lines or anything, it's kind of dangerous, but I think the road needs to be wider to make it safer for the trucks," says Stetson Wren.

The two groups will also work together in developing a master transportation plan for the west side of the city.
