Free Spay/Neuter for Pets every Wednesday in July!

Updated:
Joplin Humane Society is excited to announce that we will be offering FREE SPAY/NEUTER CLINICS
EVERY WEDNESDAY IN JULY!
These clinics are open to healthy any pets that are at least 8 weeks of age and weighing 2lbs. All pets over 4
mos of age must be current on rabies vaccines; if your pet is not current one will be given for a charge of
$10. Limit 2 pets per household.
You must be able to drop off your pet on your scheduled Wednesday between 9:15-9:45 and pick up cats
between 2-5pm and dogs between 4-5pm. All dogs must be on a leash and all cats must be in a carrier. Presurgery
instructions will be given when the appointment is made. Please be prepared to keep your post
surgery pet inside (except feral cats). Our $15 "Love my Pet Package" which includes a 2 day supply of
pain medication and an e-collar is strongly recommended to help keep your pet comfortable and prevent
your pet from licking and damaging their incision. One dose of pain relief is given at the time of surgery.
Vaccines, heartworm testing and medication, FeLV/FIV testing and more are available at time of service for
additional fees. These clinics will fill quickly, please call 417-623-3642 x100 to schedule your appointment.
These amazing clinics are made possible by a generous donation from Michele Slawson.
